Sarah joined Acteon in 2019 and is responsible for financial planning and management. She also heads the operations team, oversees HR and leads on company governance. During lockdown Sarah led on the refurbishment of Burleigh House, Acteon’s home, and she works closely with the partners to ensure the best working environment for the team.
Sarah has worked in these fields for the past twenty years with a focus in the creative industries. She previously managed cultural venues in London and Glasgow and was immersed in the theatre, cinema, commercial music and club scene. She has worked with film production companies, including a long-running relationship with Denmark’s Zentropa and was a director of Film City Glasgow in its early development.
She also has extensive experience in the not-for-profit sector, advising trustees and chief executives on financial management and has been a trustee herself of several charities.
